2To announce your love each daybreak,sing your faithful presence all through the night,

2to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,

3Accompanied by dulcimer and harp,the full-bodied music of strings.

3with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, and with the melody of the lyre.

4You made me so happy, God.I saw your work and I shouted for joy.

4For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.

5How magnificent your work, God!How profound your thoughts!

5How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.

6Dullards never notice what you do;fools never do get it.

6A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:

7When the wicked popped up like weedsand all the evil men and women took over,You mowed them down,finished them off once and for all.

7though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

8You, God, are High and Eternal.

8But you, Yahweh, are on high forever more.

9Look at your enemies, God!Look at your enemies—ruined!Scattered to the winds, all those hirelings of evil!

9For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, for, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evildoers will be scattered.

10But you've made me strong as a charging bison,you've honored me with a festive parade.

10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.

11The sight of my critics going down is still fresh,the rout of my malicious detractors.My ears are filled with the sounds of promise:

11My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.

12"Good people will prosper like palm trees,Grow tall like Lebanon cedars;

12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13transplanted to God's courtyard,They'll grow tall in the presence of God,

13They are planted in Yahweh’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts.

14lithe and green, virile still in old age."

14They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,

15Such witnesses to upright God!My Mountain, my huge, holy Mountain!

15to show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
