3Her very own leadersare rapacious lions,Her judges are rapacious timber wolvesout every morning prowling for a fresh kill.

4Her prophets are out for what they can get.They're opportunists—you can't trust them.Her priests desecrate the Sanctuary.They use God's law as a weapon to maim and kill souls.

7"I thought, 'Surely she'll honor me now,accept my discipline and correction,Find a way of escape from the trouble she's in,find relief from the punishment I'm bringing.'But it didn't faze her. Bright and earlyshe was up at it again, doing the same old things.

7Dije: Ciertamente me temerás, recibirás corrección; y no será su habitación derruida por todo aquello sobre que los visité. Pero ellos se levantaron de mañana y corrompieron todas sus obras.

13El remanente de Israel no hará iniquidad, ni dirá mentira, ni en boca de ellos se hallará lengua engañosa: porque ellos serán apacentados y dormirán, y no habrá quien los espante.

19At the same time, I'll get rid of all thosewho've made your life miserable.I'll heal the maimed;I'll bring home the homeless.In the very countries where they were hatedthey will be venerated.
