2Eu designei Bezalel, filho de Uri, filho de Hur, da tribo de Judá,

2"See what I've done; I've personally chosen Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur of the tribe of Judah.

3e o enchi do Espírito de Deus, dando-lhe sabedoria, entendimento e habilidade em toda atividade artística,

3I've filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him skill and know-how and expertise in every kind of craft

4para criar obras artísticas e trabalhar em ouro, prata e bronze,

4to create designs and work in gold, silver, and bronze;

5para lavrar pedras de engaste e fazer entalhe em madeira, enfim, para trabalhar em toda atividade artística.

5to cut and set gemstones; to carve wood—he's an all-around craftsman.

6E designei Aoliabe, filho de Aisamaque, da tribo de Dã, como seu auxiliar, e dei sabedoria ao coração de todos os homens hábeis, para fazerem tudo o que tenho ordenado a ti,

6"Not only that, but I've given him Oholiab, son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan, to work with him. And to all who have an aptitude for crafts I've given the skills to make all the things I've commanded you:

7a saber: a tenda da revelação, a arca do testemunho, o propiciatório que estará sobre ela e todos os utensílios da tenda:

12O SENHOR disse mais a Moisés:

13Falarás aos israelitas: Certamente guardareis os meus sábados, porque isso é um sinal entre mim e vós através de vossas gerações; para que saibais que eu sou o SENHOR que vos santifica.

13"Tell the Israelites, 'Above all, keep my Sabbaths, the sign between me and you, generation after generation, to keep the knowledge alive that I am the God who makes you holy.

14Portanto, guardareis o sábado, porque é santo para vós. Aquele que o profanar certamente será morto; qualquer um que fizer algum trabalho nesse dia será extirpado do meio do seu povo.

14Keep the Sabbath; it's holy to you. Whoever profanes it will most certainly be put to death. Whoever works on it will be excommunicated from the people.

15Durante seis dias se trabalhará, mas o sétimo dia será o sábado de descanso solene, santo ao SENHOR; quem fizer algum trabalho no dia do sábado certamente será morto.

15There are six days for work but the seventh day is Sabbath, pure rest, holy to God. Anyone who works on the Sabbath will most certainly be put to death.

16Os israelitas guardarão o sábado, celebrando-o através de suas gerações como aliança perpétua.

16The Israelites will keep the Sabbath, observe Sabbath-keeping down through the generations, as a standing covenant.

17Será um sinal entre mim e os israelitas para sempre, porque o SENHOR fez o céu e a terra em seis dias, e no sétimo dia descansou e tomou alento.

17It's a fixed sign between me and the Israelites. Yes, because in six days God made the Heavens and the Earth and on the seventh day he stopped and took a long, deep breath.' "

18Quando acabou de falar com Moisés no monte Sinai, deu-lhe as duas tábuas do testemunho, tábuas de pedra, escritas pelo dedo de Deus.

18When he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave Moses two tablets of Testimony, slabs of stone, written with the finger of God.
