1Então Moisés respondeu: Mas eles não acreditarão em mim, nem atenderão à minha voz, pois dirão: O SENHOR não te apareceu.

1Then Moses answered and said, "What if they will not believe me or take seriously what I say? For they may say, 'The LORD has not appeared to you.'"

2Perguntou-lhe o SENHOR: Que é isso na tua mão? Moisés respondeu: Uma vara.

2And the LORD said to him, "What is that in your hand?" And he said, "A staff."

3O SENHOR lhe ordenou: Joga-a no chão. Ele a jogou no chão, e ela transformou-se numa cobra; e Moisés fugiu dela.

3Then He said, "Throw it on the ground." So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent ; and Moses ran from it.

4Então o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Estende a mão e pega-a pela cauda (ele estendeu a mão, pegou-a, e ela transformou-se numa vara de novo);

4But the LORD said to Moses, "Reach out your hand and grasp it by the tail." So he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand—

5para que eles acreditem que o SENHOR, o Deus de seus pais, o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaque e o Deus de Jacó te apareceu.

5"so that the elders may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you."

6Disse-lhe mais o SENHOR: Agora coloca a mão no peito. Ele colocou a mão no peito e, quando a tirou, ela estava leprosa, semelhante à neve.

6The LORD also said to him, "Put your hand into your robe ." So he put his hand into his robe, and when he took it out, his hand was leprous, as white as snow.

7Disse-lhe ainda: Coloca de novo a mão no peito. Ele colocou a mão no peito de novo e, quando a tirou, ela estava como o resto do seu corpo.

7Then God said, "Put your hand into your robe again." So he put his hand back into his robe, and when he took it out, it was restored like the rest of his body.

8Acontecerá que, se não acreditarem em ti, nem aceitarem o primeiro sinal, acreditarão no segundo sinal.

8"If they will not believe you or pay attention to the evidence of the first sign, they may believe the evidence of the second sign.

9Se ainda não acreditarem depois desses dois sinais, nem atenderem à tua voz, pegarás da água do rio e derramarás sobre a terra seca; e a água tirada do rio se transformará em sangue sobre a terra seca.

9But if they will not believe these two signs or pay attention to what you say, you are to take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water which you take out of the river will turn into blood on the dry ground."

10Então disse Moisés ao SENHOR: Ah, Senhor! Eu nunca fui bom orador, nem antes, nem agora, que falaste ao teu servo, pois sou pesado de boca e pesado de língua.

10Then Moses said to the LORD, "Please, Lord, I am not a man of words (eloquent, fluent), neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and tongue."

11E o SENHOR lhe respondeu: Quem faz a boca do homem? Ou quem faz o mudo, ou o surdo, ou o que vê, ou o cego? Não sou eu, o SENHOR?

11The LORD said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, or the seeing or the blind? Is it not I, the LORD?

12Então vai agora, e estarei com a tua boca e te ensinarei o que deves falar.
AMP
12Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall say."

13Ele, porém, disse: Ah, Senhor! Peço-te que envies outro que queiras enviar.
AMP
13But he said, "Please my Lord, send the message by whomever else You will ."
AS21
14Então a ira do SENHOR acendeu-se contra Moisés, e disse: Arão, o levita, não é teu irmão? Eu sei que ele fala bem. Ele também virá ao teu encontro e, vendo-te, se alegrará no coração.

14Then the anger of the LORD was kindled and burned against Moses; He said, "Is there not your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know that he speaks fluently. Also, he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you, he will be overjoyed.

15Tu lhe falarás e lhe porás as palavras na boca; e eu estarei com a tua boca e com a dele, e vos ensinarei o que deveis fazer.

15You must speak to him and put the words in his mouth; I, even I, will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you are to do.

16Ele falará ao povo em teu lugar. Assim, ele será a tua boca, e tu serás como Deus para ele.

16Moreover, he shall speak for you to the people; he will act as a mouthpiece for you, and you will be as God to him .

17Portanto, levarás essa vara na tua mão e realizarás os sinais com ela.
AMP
17You shall take in your hand this staff, with which you shall perform the signs ."
AS21
18Então Moisés voltou para onde estava Jetro, seu sogro, e disse-lhe: Deixa-me voltar a meus irmãos, que estão no Egito, para ver se ainda vivem. Jetro lhe disse: Vai em paz.

18Then Moses went away and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, "Please, let me go back so that I may return to my relatives in Egypt, and see if they are still alive." And Jethro said to Moses, "Go in peace."

19E o SENHOR disse também a Moisés em Midiã: Vai, volta para o Egito, pois já morreram todos os que procuravam tirar-te a vida.

19Then the LORD said to Moses in Midian, "Go back to Egypt, for all the men who were seeking your life are dead."
AS21
20Então Moisés tomou sua mulher e seus filhos, os fez montar num jumento e voltou para a terra do Egito; e Moisés levava na mão a vara de Deus.

20So Moses took his wife and his sons and seated them on donkeys, and returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the staff of God in his hand.

21E o SENHOR disse ainda a Moisés: Quando voltares ao Egito, tem o cuidado de fazer diante do faraó todas as maravilhas que tenho posto na tua mão. Mas eu lhe endurecerei o coração, e ele não deixará o povo ir.

21The LORD said to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders (miracles) which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and make him stubborn so that he will not let the people go.

22Então dirás ao faraó: Assim diz o SENHOR: Israel é meu filho, meu primogênito;

22Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD, "Israel is My son, My firstborn.

23e eu te disse: Deixa meu filho ir, para que me cultue. Mas recusaste deixá-lo ir. Por isso, matarei o teu filho primogênito.

23So I say to you, 'Let My son go so that he may serve Me'; and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will kill your son, your firstborn."'"

24Durante a viagem, aconteceu que o SENHOR encontrou Moisés numa estalagem e quis matá-lo.

24Now it happened at the lodging place, that the LORD met Moses and sought to kill him .
AS21
25Então, Zípora pegou uma faca de pedra, circuncidou o prepúcio de seu filho e, lançando-o aos pés de Moisés, disse: Tu és para mim um marido sanguinário.

25Then Zipporah took a flint knife and cut off the foreskin of her son and threw it at Moses' feet, and said, "Indeed you are a husband of blood to me!"

26O SENHOR, então, o deixou. E ela disse: Marido sanguinário, por causa da circuncisão.

26So He let Moses alone . At that time Zipporah said, "You are a husband of blood"—because of the circumcision.

27E o SENHOR disse a Arão: Vai para o deserto, ao encontro de Moisés. Ele foi e, encontrando-o no monte de Deus, cumprimentou-o com um beijo.

27The LORD said to Aaron, "Go into the wilderness to meet Moses." So he went and met him at the mountain of God (Sinai) and kissed him.

28E Moisés relatou a Arão todas as palavras com que o SENHOR o enviara e todos os sinais que o mandara realizar.

28Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD with which He had sent him, and all the signs that He had commanded him to do.

29Então Moisés e Arão foram e reuniram todos os anciãos dos israelitas.
AMP
29Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the Israelites;
AS21
30E Arão falou todas as palavras que o SENHOR dissera a Moisés, e este realizou os sinais diante do povo.

30and Aaron said all the words which the LORD had spoken to Moses. Then Moses performed the signs before the people.

31O povo acreditou; quando todos ouviram que o SENHOR havia visitado os israelitas e que tinha visto a sua opressão, inclinaram-se e adoraram.
AMP
31So the people believed; and when they heard that the LORD was concerned about the Israelites and that He had looked on their suffering, then they bowed their heads and worshiped .
