2Ordena aos israelitas que te tragam azeite de oliva puro e batido para o candelabro, para manter as lâmpadas continuamente acesas.

2"Order the People of Israel to bring you virgin olive oil for light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually.

3Arão as conservará continuamente acesas diante do SENHOR, desde a tarde até a manhã, fora do véu do testemunho, na tenda da revelação. É um estatuto perpétuo através das vossas gerações.

3Aaron is in charge of keeping these lamps burning in front of the curtain that screens The Testimony in the Tent of Meeting from evening to morning continually before God. This is a perpetual decree down through the generations.

4Conservará as lâmpadas continuamente em ordem sobre o candelabro de ouro puro diante do SENHOR.

4Aaron is responsible for keeping the lamps burning continually on the Lampstand of pure gold before God.

5Também pegarás da melhor farinha e com ela assarás doze pães; cada pão terá dois décimos de efa.

5"Take fine flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using about four quarts of flour to a loaf.

6E os porás diante do SENHOR, em duas fileiras, seis em cada fileira, sobre a mesa de ouro puro.

6Arrange them in two rows of six each on the Table of pure gold before God.

7Sobre cada fileira, porás incenso puro, para que esteja sobre os pães como um memorial, isto é, como oferta queimada ao SENHOR.

7Along each row spread pure incense, marking the bread as a memorial; it is a gift to God.

8Isso será feito diante do SENHOR todo sábado, continuamente, em favor dos israelitas; é uma aliança perpétua.

8Regularly, every Sabbath, this bread is to be set before God, a perpetual covenantal response from Israel.

9Os pães pertencerão a Arão e seus filhos, que os comerão em lugar santo, pois são sua porção santíssima das ofertas queimadas ao SENHOR, por estatuto perpétuo.

9The bread then goes to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a Holy Place. It is their most holy share from the gifts to God. This is a perpetual decree."

10Naquele tempo, estava entre os israelitas o filho de uma mulher israelita com um egípcio. Ele e um homem israelita brigaram no acampamento,

10One day the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites. A fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite.

11e o filho da mulher israelita blasfemou contra o Nome, amaldiçoando-o. Então o levaram a Moisés. O nome de sua mãe era Selomite, filha de Dibri, da tribo de Dã.

11The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name of God and cursed. They brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan.

12They put him in custody waiting for God's will to be revealed to them.

13Então o SENHOR disse a Moisés:

13Then God spoke to Moses:

14Leva para fora do acampamento o que blasfemou. Todos os que o ouviram porão as mãos sobre a cabeça dele, e toda a comunidade o apedrejará.

14"Take the blasphemer outside the camp. Have all those who heard him place their hands on his head; then have the entire congregation stone him.

15E dirás aos israelitas: Todo homem que amaldiçoar o seu Deus sofrerá por causa do seu pecado.

15Then tell the Israelites, Anyone who curses God will be held accountable;
AS21
16Aquele que blasfemar contra o nome do SENHOR certamente será morto; toda a comunidade o apedrejará. Tanto o estrangeiro como o natural que blasfemar contra o nome do SENHOR será morto.

16anyone who blasphemes the Name of God must be put to death. The entire congregation must stone him. It makes no difference whether he is a foreigner or a native, if he blasphemes the Name, he will be put to death.

17Quem matar alguém certamente será morto;

17"Anyone who hits and kills a fellow human must be put to death.

18e quem matar um animal fará restituição por ele, vida por vida.

18Anyone who kills someone's animal must make it good—a life for a life.

19Se alguém causar um ferimento em seu próximo, lhe será feito como fez:

19Anyone who injures his neighbor will get back the same as he gave:

20fratura por fratura, olho por olho, dente por dente; o ferimento que tiver causado a alguém também lhe será feito.

20fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. What he did to hurt that person will be done to him.

21Quem matar um animal fará restituição por ele, mas quem matar um homem será morto.

21Anyone who hits and kills an animal must make it good, but whoever hits and kills a fellow human will be put to death.

22Tereis a mesma lei tanto para o estrangeiro como para o natural, pois eu sou o SENHOR vosso Deus.

22And no double standards: the same rule goes for foreigners and natives. I am God, your God."

23Então Moisés falou aos israelitas. E eles levaram para fora do acampamento aquele que havia blasfemado e o apedrejaram. Os israelitas fizeram conforme o SENHOR havia ordenado a Moisés.

23Moses then spoke to the People of Israel. They brought the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him. The People of Israel followed the orders God had given Moses.
