1No oitavo dia, Moisés chamou Arão, seus filhos e os anciãos de Israel;

1On the eighth day, Moses called in Aaron and his sons and the leaders of Israel.

2e disse a Arão: Toma um bezerro para oferta pelo pecado, e um carneiro para holocausto, ambos sem defeito, e oferece-os diante do SENHOR.

2He spoke to Aaron: "Take a bull-calf for your Absolution-Offering and a ram for your Whole-Burnt-Offering, both without defect, and offer them to God.

3E falarás aos israelitas: Trazei um bode para oferta pelo pecado, e um bezerro e um cordeiro para holocausto, ambos de um ano e sem defeito.

3"Then tell the People of Israel, Take a male goat for an Absolution-Offering and a calf and a lamb, both yearlings without defect, for a Whole-Burnt-Offering

4Trazei também um boi e um carneiro para ofertas pacíficas, para sacrificar diante do SENHOR, e oferta de cereais, amassada com azeite, porque hoje o SENHOR vos aparecerá.

4and a bull and a ram for a Peace-Offering, to be sacrificed before God with a Grain-Offering mixed with oil, because God will appear to you today."

5Então levaram até a entrada da tenda da revelação o que Moisés havia ordenado, e toda a comunidade se aproximou e ficou de pé diante do SENHOR.

5They brought the things that Moses had ordered to the Tent of Meeting. The whole congregation came near and stood before God.

6E Moisés disse: Foi isso que o SENHOR ordenou que fizésseis para que a glória do SENHOR vos aparecesse.

6Moses said, "This is what God commanded you to do so that the Shining Glory of God will appear to you."

7Em seguida, Moisés disse a Arão: Chega-te ao altar e apresenta a tua oferta pelo pecado e o teu holocausto, e faz expiação por ti e pelo povo. Apresenta também a oferta do povo, e faz expiação por ele, conforme o SENHOR ordenou.

7Moses instructed Aaron, "Approach the Altar and sacrifice your Absolution-Offering and your Whole-Burnt-Offering. Make atonement for yourself and for the people. Sacrifice the offering that is for the people and make atonement for them, just as God commanded."

8Arão foi ao altar e sacrificou o bezerro que era a sua própria oferta pelo pecado.

8Aaron approached the Altar and slaughtered the calf as an Absolution-Offering for himself.

9Os filhos de Arão levaram-lhe o sangue; e ele molhou o dedo no sangue, colocou-o sobre as pontas do altar e derramou o resto na base do altar;

9Aaron's sons brought the blood to him. He dipped his finger in the blood and smeared some of it on the horns of the Altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the Altar.

10mas queimou a gordura, os rins e a protuberância do fígado da oferta pelo pecado sobre o altar, conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

10He burned the fat, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver from the Absolution-Offering on the Altar, just as God had commanded Moses.

11E queimou a carne e o couro no fogo, fora do acampamento.

11He burned the meat and the skin outside the camp.

12Depois, sacrificou o holocausto; e os filhos de Arão lhe entregaram o sangue, e ele o aspergiu sobre o altar em redor.

12Then he slaughtered the Whole-Burnt-Offering. Aaron's sons handed him the blood and he threw it against each side of the Altar.

13Também lhe entregaram o holocausto, pedaço por pedaço, e também a cabeça, e ele os queimou sobre o altar.

13They handed him the pieces and the head and he burned these on the Altar.
AS21
14E lavou as vísceras e as pernas, e as queimou sobre o holocausto no altar.

14He washed the entrails and the legs and burned them on top of the Whole-Burnt-Offering on the Altar.

15Então apresentou a oferta do povo; e, tomando o bode da oferta pelo pecado do povo, sacrificou-o e ofereceu-o pelo pecado, como havia feito com o primeiro.

15Next Aaron presented the offerings of the people. He took the male goat, the Absolution-Offering for the people, slaughtered it, and offered it as an Absolution-Offering just as he did with the first offering.

16Apresentou também o holocausto, e o ofereceu conforme ordenado.

16He presented the Whole-Burnt-Offering following the same procedures.

17E apresentou a oferta de cereais; e, tomando dela um punhado, queimou-o sobre o altar, além do holocausto da manhã.

17He presented the Grain-Offering by taking a handful of it and burning it on the Altar along with the morning Whole-Burnt-Offering.

18Sacrificou também o boi e o carneiro como sacrifício de oferta pacífica pelo povo; e os filhos de Arão entregaram-lhe o sangue, que ele aspergiu sobre o altar em redor.

18He slaughtered the bull and the ram, the people's Peace-Offerings. Aaron's sons handed him the blood and he threw it against each side of the Altar.

19A gordura do boi e do carneiro, a cauda gorda, e o que cobre as vísceras, os rins e a protuberância do fígado,

19The fat pieces from the bull and the ram—the fat tail and the fat that covers the kidney and the lobe of the liver—

20puseram sobre os peitos; e ele queimou a gordura sobre o altar,

20they laid on the breasts and Aaron burned it on the Altar.

21mas ofereceu os peitos e a coxa direita como oferta movida diante do SENHOR, conforme Moisés havia ordenado.

21Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh before God as a Wave-Offering, just as God commanded.
AS21
22Depois de oferecer o sacrifício pelo pecado, o holocausto e as ofertas pacíficas, Arão levantou as mãos para o povo, abençoou-o e desceu.

22Aaron lifted his hands over the people and blessed them. Having completed the rituals of the Absolution-Offering, the Whole-Burnt-Offering, and the Peace-Offering, he came down from the Altar.

23E Moisés e Arão entraram na tenda da revelação. Depois saíram e abençoaram o povo; e a glória do SENHOR apareceu a todo o povo,

23Moses and Aaron entered the Tent of Meeting. When they came out they blessed the people and the Glory of God appeared to all the people.

24pois saiu fogo de diante do SENHOR e consumiu o holocausto e a gordura sobre o altar. Ao ver isso, todo o povo gritou de alegria e prostrou-se com o rosto em terra.

24Fire blazed out from God and consumed the Whole-Burnt-Offering and the fat pieces on the Altar. When all the people saw it happen they cheered loudly and then fell down, bowing in reverence.
