2Sing songs to the tune of his glory,set glory to the rhythms of his praise.

3Say of God, "We've never seen anything like him!"When your enemies see you in action,they slink off like scolded dogs.

3Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.

4The whole earth falls to its knees—it worships you, sings to you,can't stop enjoying your name and fame.

4All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah

5Take a good look at God's wonders—they'll take your breath away.

5Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.

6He converted sea to dry land;travelers crossed the river on foot.Now isn't that cause for a song?

7Ever sovereign in his high tower, he keepshis eye on the godless nations.Rebels don't dareraise a finger against him.

10For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.

11Brought us into hardscrabble country,pushed us to our very limit,

11You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs;

12Road-tested us inside and out,took us to hell and back;Finally he brought usto this well-watered place.

12you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.

13I'm bringing my prizes and presents to your house.I'm doing what I said I'd do,

13I will come into your house with burnt offerings; I will perform my vows to you,

14What I solemnly swore I'd dothat day when I was in so much trouble:

15The choicest cuts of meatfor the sacrificial meal;Even the fragranceof roasted lamb is like a meal!Or make it an oxgarnished with goat meat!

15I will offer to you burnt offerings of fattened animals, with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams; I will make an offering of bulls and goats. Selah

16All believers, come here and listen,let me tell you what God did for me.

17I called out to him with my mouth,my tongue shaped the sounds of music.

18If I had been cozy with evil,the Lord would never have listened.

18If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

19But he most surely did listen,he came on the double when he heard my prayer.

19But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

20Blessed be God: he didn't turn a deaf ear,he stayed with me, loyal in his love.

20Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!
