Then the angel of the LORD reached out the tip of the staff that was in his hand and touched the meat and the unleavened cakes. And fire sprang up from the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened cakes. And the angel of the LORD vanished from his sight.

21-22 O anjo do Eterno estendeu a ponta do cajado que carregava e tocou a carne e o pão. Na mesma hora, saíram chamas da pedra, e elas queimaram a carne e o pão, enquanto o anjo do Eterno sumia de vista. Gideão finalmente entendeu que aquele era o anjo do Eterno! Gideão disse: “Ah! Senhor, Eterno! Eu vi teu anjo face a face!”.

Então o Anjo do SENHOR estendeu a ponta do cajado que trazia na mão e tocou a carne e os pães sem fermento. Saiu fogo da rocha e queimou a carne e os pães. E o Anjo do SENHOR desapareceu da presença dele.

Então o Anjo do Senhor tocou na carne e nos bolos com a vara que trazia. Imediatamente subiu fogo da rocha e consumiu tudo! E subitamente o Anjo do Senhor desapareceu de vista!

καί ἐκτείνω ὁ ἄγγελος κύριος ὁ ἄκρος ὁ ῥάβδος ὁ ἐν χείρ αὐτός καί ἅπτομαι ὁ κρέας καί ὁ ἄζυμος καί ἀναβαίνω πῦρ ἐκ ὁ πέτρα καί καταἐσθίω ὁ κρέας καί ὁ ἄζυμος καί ὁ ἄγγελος κύριος πορεύομαι ἀπό ὀφθαλμός αὐτός

extendit angelus Domini summitatem virgæ, quam tenebat in manu, et tetigit carnes et panes azymos : ascenditque ignis de petra, et carnes azymosque panes consumpsit : angelus autem Domini evanuit ex oculis ejus.
